Dear Rose,
I am guilty!!! It is hard for me to walk away from a spell I have sent out. I have a boomerang mentality. How insulting it must be to my own magickal integrity to not trust that after releasing a spell, it is being worked out. By calling them back (rehearsing the spell again) after sending them out, am I not interupting their progress in fulfilling what I sent them out to do?

Dear Rose: Your comparison of magical spells to a washing machine is simple but also simply brilliant. If it is alright, I am going to borrow the concept to explain to people just getting started that faith and patience are necessary. And yes, the affirming chime will occur but in its own time.
